We raise happy, well-fed coturnix quail for eggs. These tiny eggs aren't just cute — they are packed with flavor and nutrition. We are California Certified Egg Handlers and Lake County certified Producers for farmers markets. We strive to provide an ethical, safe, and sustainable quality product by raising healthy, happy birds and carefully following all mandated cleaning and handling regulations.
Our quail are treated humanely and only take up a tiny footprint. Yet they produce a lovely bounty of colorful, delicious eggs.
Our hens are spoiled pets, not livestock. We gather their eggs daily, dote over them, and thank them for their contribution. Their colorful eggs have a rich, creamy yolk perfect for ramen, pickling, or baking.
We make quail-themed items, one-of-kind keepsakes, and can even do custom engraving — all out of our family's home workspace.
We are a family micro-farm on the shores of Clear Lake. The goodness in every egg we sell represents the care we put into our flock. No big warehouses, just us and the quail.
Next up: Sunday, September 20th, 10am–2pm at the Tomato Festival and Farmers Market hosted by the Bachelor Valley Grange in Upper Lake, California. Come say hello and meet the flock (in photo form — the quail stay home!).
A soft-jammy quail egg, halved over a steaming bowl of shoyu ramen, is the easiest way to fall in love with these little eggs. They're rich, small enough for two bites, and just as good soft-boiled, pickled, or fried sunny-side up on toast.
